I have been to about 20 stores looking at lamps and this one caught my eye. It has bird feathers painted all around and an odd shaped shade. Love it - BUT $300 is out of my budget! It is sitting on a similar table to what I chose.

Here is the layout for my living room as chosen by the designer! I bought new furniture at Laz-y-boy and they offered free home design service, so I agreed. So that was pretty smart because I ended up spending 3x the original amount! I needed a change anyway.

I went to Philadelphia 4 times in the past week. The airport twice, Italian Market/Reading Terminal Market, and Art Museum. It's really not to far from my home, and I always forget how much there is to do there, until I get into the city and drive around.

Today we visited the Philadelphia Art Museum where there is a fantastic exhibit about Armour. Most of the armour was made in Germany which was a surprise. There were pieces from Italy, England, France and Spain. Each country definitely had it's own design style. This museum is huge!
